El Nido, Palawan


El Nido is an island in the Palawan region, this place is one of the three most popular destinations for tourists in Philippines, with Coron and Puerto Princessa. El Nido is included in the list of world's top tourist destinations.

The island is located near Coron dive. Coron is known as the scuba diving attractions. El Nido is also home for archaeological treasures which proves that there are people who inhabit the island about 22,000 years ago.



Palawan Beach


Palawan Beach is located in the south of the Philippines and can be accessed with the Monkey Trail (another name for a wooden boat in Philippines). This beach is located along the National Park Puerto Princesa. About eight miles away, you will be surprised with many long-tailed monkeys, blue-naped parrots, and other native wildlife habitat in the surrounding forest.

Palawan Beach also has a limestone cliffs, there are atoll reefs, mangrove forests, white sandy beach and extensive coral reefs, and, of course, a good beach for snorkeling. Palawan beach is very wide territory. This area has 1995 kilometers long, include 1768 islands, and this is a gathering place for fish and wildlife in the Philippines.



Malacanang Palace


Malacanang palace is one of the most historic building in Philippines. This place is the president's official residence, in the country since 1863.

Located next to the Pasig River, it was a summer lodge for Spain governor  during the early 1800s. Some parts of the palace was used as a museum and opened for public.



Chocolate Hills, Bohol


Bohol is not only known for its beautiful beaches. This place is also location for famous destinations The Chocolate Hills. There are more than 1,200 hills, covering more than 50 square kilometers lands area.

This is a limestone hills with an almost perfect cone shape. Many scientists who have studied it believe that these hills are man-made. However, there is no clear evidence about the origins of these hills to be made as beautiful as it is until now.



Underground River, Puerto Princessa


For most people, the fact that this underground river is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site is enough to make them want to go here. If you need more convincing, this destination has just been named as the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Puerto Princessa Underground River is the longest underground river in the world, reaching 8.2 kilometers long. Unfortunately, only 2 kilometers that can be accessed for public. However, you can enjoy the scenery while cruising on the banks of this river, which is also surrounded by a national park that made your trip really enjoyable. You can see many native species, including parrots, monkeys, and lizards.



Tubbataha Reef, Sulu Sea


Tubbataha Reef is a very beautiful coral reefs. Located in the Sulu Sea (about 150 kilometers southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan) and are the homes for thousands marine species.

This place is not known by many people, there are coral reefs in the Philippines are almost equal to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. This coral reef is located in the middle of Sulu Sea and consists from two coral islands that are home for more than 400 species of fish and 300 coral species.

Because it is so far from other tourist attractions, this place is one of the most well-maintained parks in the Philippines. Not surprisingly, the park was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993. The reef was inaugurated as national marine park by the President, Cory Aquino in 1988.



Intramuros


Built in 1571, Intramuros was built by the Spanish during their occupation of this country. This place covers about 160 hectares area (395 acres).

Intramuros (Walled City) is a famous walled city built in the Spanish colonial period. At this resort, you will see the castle, churches, monasteries, homes, schools and other government buildings with Spanish style. The oldest area of the city is protected by a few large wall that is still strong, despite the battles of World War II was happened here.

There is San Agustin Church and Manila Cathedral here, located on 2072 square kilometers (800 square miles) from the port and the ruins of Fort Santiago.



Banaue Rice Terraces


If you admire the Pyramids or Taj Mahal and makes you want to cry, you don’t have to feel lost in the Banaue rice terraces. Philippines is not just spectacular with giant monuments, but also have a tourist attraction located in Central Luzon, that is also the largest man-made structure in the world that are not made with hard labor or slavery.

Mount Pinatubo

Fort Santiago


Fort Santiago is a defense fortress built for Spanish Conquistador, Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. This fort is part structure from the walled city Intramuros in Manila, Philippines.

Fort Santiago also has a high historical value because of Jose Rizal, the Philippines national hero, was imprisoned in this fort before being executed in 1896. One site that also you can see is the bronze footsteps. This is the last step when Jose Rizal walked from his cell to the execution site.

San Agustin Church


San Agustin is a Roman Catholic church located in the walled city (Intramuros) in Manila. Built in 1607, this is the oldest church that still standing in Philippines. In 1993, San Agustin Church, one of four Philippine churches constructed during the Spanish colonial inaugurated as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, under the classification of Philippine baroque church.

When you enter to this church which has 67.15 meters long and 24.39 meters wide, you can see the baroque architectural style design, especially in the carving style at the door.

In the courtyard , you will see a lion statue. The church also has 14 chapels and beautiful paintings on the ceiling from Italian artists Cesare Alberoni and Giovanni Dibella.



Tagaytay Lake and Volcano


If you traveled to the mountains, Philippines will refresh your eyes with stunning panoramic views. Tagaytay Lake Volcano is a natural tourist attraction that should not miss when you travel to Philippines.

This place is a little bit far from the capital city, Manila, so it requires you to travel about three to four hours to get there.

Rizal Park


Rizal Park is one place that is often visited by locals and foreigner tourists. It is a city park located in the heart of Manila, Philippines, specifically at the northern end of Roxas Boulevard, overlooking Manila Bay.

Another uniqueness is that there is a small lake with a replica of the Philippine Islands. The park is decorated with several statues. Besides Jose Rizal statue, the Philippine national hero, there is a very high flagpole. This flagpole is the highest in the Philippines, built in 1961, has a 107 meters height.

Around the park there are also historical buildings, including the National Library, the National Museum of the Filipino People, Butterfly Pavilion, and Planetarium Orchidarium. Rizal Park is also often used for musical performances, dance, and various other arts.



Chatedral


Manila Metropolitan Cathedral is the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. Located in the Intramuros district of Manila, the cathedral has been damaged and destroyed several times since it was built in 1581.

After the sixth incarnation in 1958, the cathedral was ordained as a minor basilica in 1981. It is dedicated to St. Mary as a protector for Philippines.

The main facade of Manila Cathedral is decorated with saints sculpted made from Roman travertine stone. In the old cathedral, the building was originally made from Molave woods.
