1. N Seoul Tower
N Seoul Tower is located on top of Mount Namsan, Seoul. To get to this point there are several ways, first by using Seoul City Tour Bus that around every 30 minutes. Second, by sub-way from line three or four and get off at Chungmuro station. Then you exit through no. 2 and take the Namsan Shuttle Bus in front of Daehan cinema.
Want to try other travel experience? You can also take a cable car to get to N Seoul Tower. For the cable car, you can take subway line and get off at Myeongdong four exit 3. Then you walk to the Hotel Pacific for about 10 minutes to cable car station.
2. Han River
Han River is the largest river in Seoul and also the fourth largest river on the Korean Peninsula. This river has a about 512 kilometers long. In Nodeulseom Bridge you can enjoy the thrill of walking on the 300-meter bridge which seemed like a walk in the water, because the bridge is buried as deep as 30 cm in the water.
You can also enjoy the scenery along the river with bicycle. There are several bike rental places that you can find along the road by the river.
3. Nami Island
Nami island is one of the famous sights in Chuncheon. Nami island located in Gapyeong, about 30 minutes from Chuncheon. This island is a small land located in the middle of the river, and became one of the famous tourist attraction in Korea.
From Seoul or Chuncheon, Nami Island can be reached by subway line Gangchoen / Seoul-Chuncheon, and get off at Gapyeong Station. From the station can continue by taxi (about 4000 won), or by bus. 4. Jeju Island

Ganghwa-eup

Deoksugung Palace
Deoksugung is the only palace in the middle of the western-style building in downtown Seoul, South Korea. The building is very traditional like an oasis in Seoul. Deoksugung in English means "Palace of Virtuous Longevity" was built in the 15th century by Prince Wolsan, King Seongjong’s brother. After the Imjin invasion in 1592, the palace was used as the official home Seonjo king until rebuilding completed.
There are some buildings that you will see during visit to Deoksugung. After crossing the bridge and Junghwawun gate, you will arrive at the main palace called Jungwhajeon. In this place, Emperor Gojong country doing all his jobs, including receiving foreign guests. In this place, you will see a screen depicting the sun, moon and five mountains.
Originally the building consists of two floors but when rebuilt in 1906 changed only with one floor. Then there Seogeodang which was the residence of King Seongjo for 16 years after the invasion in 1592. The building is very simple with no ornamentation. You can also see Deokhongjeon. In this room the Emperor Gojong often receive his guests. In 1904, Deokhongjeon burned and restored in 1911.

Jongmyo Shrine
Located in Seoul, Jongmyo shrine storing historical documents of 19 kings and 30 queens of Korea. Jongmyo is the oldest royal temple which is used as a place of reverence and ritual ceremonies since the 14th century. By Unesco, Jongmyo become a world heritage site since 1995.
King Taejong started to build this holy shrine in December 1394 or in the third year of his reign and completed in September 1395. The building consists of a main room, including 7 rooms. Each room provided an altar for the king and queen.
To reach this place, you can take subway line 3 towards Anguk Station and exit at gate 3. You can stay at Koreana Hotel Shilla Hotel or the Somerset Palace Seoul Residence.
Changgyeonggung Palace
Formerly been a zoo and botanical garden, this palace is a historical site that should not be missed. Located in downtown Seoul, this palace was first built by King Sejong in Joseon Dynasty, 1104.
This palace renovated several times, once a zoo and botanical garden during the Japanese colonial rule. Then the palace restored and returned to its primary function in 1983. It took over 20 years to reconstruct damaged buildings because of the Japanese invasion.
The largest building in Changgyeonggung is Tongmyeongjeon. The building has a long history and has been renovated many times. Built in 1484, and then destroyed in 1592 during the Japanese invasion. Tongmyeongjeon rebuilt in 1616, but burned in 1830, and finally rebuilt in 1834. In addition to these buildings, you will see the other beautiful rooms such as Haminjeong pavilions, Gyeongchujeon, Hyangyeongjeon, and a Chundangji.
Changdeokgung Palace
Changdeok Palace is a magnificent palace and a heritage building of King Taejo. As the resting place of the kings in 1405, the place was designed very beautiful and detailed. This palace is located in Seoul, South Korea, consists of 3 main rooms, the public areas, residence of the royal family and a rear garden. In 1997, Changdeokgung preserved as a world heritage site by UNESCO.
The first element that you will see is Donhwa Gate, which is the main gate of the Changdeok Palace which means "Gate of Truth Transformation". This gate is the oldest structure built in 1609.
To reach this place, you can take subway line 1, 3 or 5, and exit through the gate 7 towards Jongno-ga Station. After that, you have to walk for about 10 minutes down the Donhwamun-ro Street before it finally arrived at Changdeokgung.
Korea House
Korea House is located right in front of the Namsangol Hanok Village. This place offers 30 traditional Korean dishes as well as a variety of folk performances. Namsangol Hanok Village
Namsangol Hanok Village is a traditional mini village consisting of 5 traditional Korean-style house. In this place you will see the park and also traditional houses, including the home of Queen Yoon, Empress of Sungjeonghyo.
When you enter the front gate, you will see a wide view of valley. On the side, you will see the traditional houses. During the Joseon Dynasty, the houses were owned by people, from kings to peasants. Original condition of this house helps us to understand how their day-to-day life at the time. Interestingly in one of the traditional houses, we can drink a traditional tea, just as the order and flavored teas on hundreds of centuries ago. We also get to see the kitchen and some of the barrel used for cooking kimchi, a South Korea's traditional food.
To reach this place you can take subway line 3 or 4 to Chungmuto Station and down through the exit gate 3 or 4.
Cheong Wa Dae
Cheong Wa Dae is the presidential office as well as the official residence of president. From here, the president carry out his duties, and also welcome guests from other countries.
Cheong Wa Dae in English means "Blue House". As the name suggests, this building has a blue roof tiles, which are made from 150 thousand tiles, making it clearly visible from distance.
Cheong Wa Dae is located in Seoul. Cheong Wa Dae consists of the main office, guest house (yeongbingwan), spring and autumn pavilion (chungchugwan), green grass (nokjiwon), rose of sharon (the mugunghwa valley), the seven palaces. Seodaemun Prison History Hall
This complex shows how the atmosphere of the prison while the Japanese occupation from 1901 to 1945. The prison was built by the Japanese in 1907 and was completed on October 21, 1908, was originally named Gyeongseong Gamok. Renamed Seodaemun Gamok in September 1912 and changed again to Seodaemun Hyeoungmuso on May 5, 1923. This name was changed again to Seoul Hyeoungmuso in 1945.
While visiting Seodaemun Prison History Museum, you are offered 7 cell, space history exhibits, the execution chamber, tower, and a prison located in the basement. This is where Yu Gwan-su, a historical figure died during the independence war.
First floor is named as "A Place of Reverence". You can learn this prison through a systematic graphic. There is a large screen which will show the background and establishment history of the prison at the time. The second chamber is "The Material Room" which shows us about the history of Korea. On the second floor, or so-called "A Place of History" we can visit some rooms, like National Resistance Room, Prison History Room and Prison Life Room.
War Memorial of Korea
Located in Yongsan-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea, the museum opened in 1994, has seven indoor showroom and outdoor display space which exhibits at least 13 thousand war memorabilia and military equipment.
Seven indoor space which you can visit here is The Memorial Hall, The War History Room, The Korean War Room, The Expeditionary Forces Room, The Armed Forces Room, The Large Equipment Room and The Korean Defense Industries Room. Something that is exhibited in this room is a replica, dioramas and historical record. The Korean War Room special tells the story of the Korean War.

To get to the War Memorial of Korea, you can simply ride the line 4 or 6 to Samgakji Station and exit through the exit gate 12.
Bongwon Temple
Bongwon Temple or called Bongwonsa is a temple with a long history. Founded in 889 by Master Dosun, and then were destroyed during the Korean War. Later the temple was rebuilt and became one of the historical sites and tourist destinations. Bongwonsa located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul near Yonsei University located in Sinchon area.
Some parts of the temple was once destroyed in 1950 during the Korean War. In 1996 a new hall was built, but was later moved to another city. In 1991 a great fire destroyed the main hall, which was later rebuilt in 1995.
Stories about Bongwonsa not stop there, in 2004, found that a serial killer Yoo Young-cheol, has buried more than a dozen victims in the courtyard of the temple. With a variety of events and history, Bongwonsa become one of the famous temples in South Korea. Bongwonsa was named as a UNESCO cultural heritage in 2009.
National Folk Museum of Korea
In the museum, you can see more than 4000 historical objects that are divided into time periods in Korean history, from prehistoric times until the Japanese Occupation. These objects are objects that are used by most Korean people everyday. In addition to the relics of history, there are also replicas, paintings and a variety of traditional life including celebrations and folk festivals.
Jusangjeolli Cliffs
Stretching along the southern coast of Jeju Island, there is an interesting spectacle not only for tourists, but also geologist. The place is Jusangjeolli Cliffs. The cliff is thought to have formed between 250,000 to 140,000 years ago, when Mount Hallasan is still active as a volcano. The view in this cliff offers a rare sight that be seen from several points around the place.
Rocks in cliffs formed the pillar-shaped rock pile. By the locals, these rocks are called Jisatgae. These rocks towering 20 meters tall, and the cliff is stretched 2 kilometers far, along the Daepo beach near Jungmun resort.
Near the cliff, built a park that allows tourists to walk about 2km long to view this cliffs from different angles. Small roads that are along this park is for tourists, where the cliff may be the perfect resting place before walking to this cliff. Most of the park is fairly quiet and well-maintained, filled with flowers, tall grass and palm trees.

Cheonjiyeon Waterfall
Cheonjiyeon waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Jeju island. Cheonjiyeon means 'connecting the sky and land'. This waterfall has 22 meters height and 12 meters wide.
You will see when the water flows down, then split into several smaller currents, which then fall on the rock cliffs that appear on the cliffs wall, which make it look like the water flows more slowly. After that the water falls into an artificial pond at the bottom.
This area is tropical forest with a total of more than 447 species, 1 subspecies, 32 variable species, 5 varieties and 2 crop species. All covered in 324 types of 123 familia. So your eyes will see the beauty of the different types of plants that may have never seen before. At night, the waterfall was decorated with colorful lights. Make this place very exotic and beautiful.
If you would like to visit this place, you can use bus 516 towards to Seoguipo. Get off at the last stop and then take a taxi to Cheonjiyeon waterfall.
Mount Hallasan
Mount Hallasan (Mount Hala) standing upright in the middle of Jeju Island, and became one of the leading landmarks in the island. The mountain is also known as Mount Yeongjusan, which means "high mountain that enough to reach the sky". This mountain has a 1950 meters height, and became the highest mountain in South Korea. Sloping hill formed by molten lava as a result of the volcanic activity of this mountain.
Mount Hallasan very popular among researchers. This mountain is a habitat of various flora and fauna, and also become a sanctuary for several species of plants and animals that are almost extinct. More than 1800 species of plants and 4000 species of animals have been identified and lived here. According the fact, this place is designated as a national park since 1970 and now this place is protected by government.
To reach this place, from Jeju intercity bus terminal, take bus 1100 (Jeju, Yeongsil, Jungmun) and get off at the entrance route Eorimmok. The scheduled departure at 08.00, 09.00, 10.00, 12:20, 13:40, and 15:00.
Manjanggul Lava Cave
Manjanggul lava cave located at the northern coast of Jeju Island. This cave extends along 13.442 m, which is only 1 km (1000 m) that open for public. As already described by its name, this cave is a lava tunnel that is very very amazing as a result of magma activity in this area at the past.
Here you see a lot of stalactites that have sprung up. Because of its beauty, the Manjanggul Lava Cave was designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (Natural Monument number 98). Don’t worry about the dark, because the cave is equipped with lights to keep your steps leading to the cave.
Seongsan Ilchulbong
Seongsan Ilchulbong known as 'Sunrise Peak'. As the name implies, is the perfect place to watch the sunrise. Beautiful and stunning scenery is the main attraction here. Seongsan Ilchulbong originally is a volcano crater with a shape like a cone, which emerged from the sea surface.
This place is formed by the hydrovulkanic eruption, where volcanic eruptions are very powerful, which is spewing magma into the sky. The eruption occurred at sea, more than 100,000 years ago.
The place is located on the eastern coast of Jeju Island. This crater has a 182 meters height, shaped like a cup which is different from the other craters, because it is formed from sea cliffs.
To reach this location, from Jeju intercity bus terminal take a bus directly (Dongilju bus to Seongsan) and get off at bus stops Seongsalliipgu (about 2 hours drive). If you are from Seogwipo intercity bus terminal, take a bus directly (Dongilju towards Seongsan) and get off at bus stops Seongsalliipgu (about 2 hours 30 minutes). At Seongsalliipgu bus stops, you will see the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong. You have to walk about 1 kilometers.
Gimnyeong Maze Park
Gimnyeong Maze Park is located in Donggimnyeong-ri. The place was designed by the famous company Adrian Fisher Maze Minotaur Designs, and funded by an American professor at Cheju National University, Frederic H. Dustin.
Gimnyeong Maze Park consists of a labyrinth which has seven images were combined. The maze is shaped like the island of Jeju, and the picture can be seen clearly from above, which includes: a snake, which is the object of worship until mid-70s; Jeju native horses, were brought there by the Mongols in 1276; ship Sparrowhawk, which shipwrecked on the island in 1653 and got Hendrick Hamel and his companions to the kingdom of Joseon, and the relic dolmen bronze. All images that are well-known symbols in Korea, and a landmark on the island of Jeju.

Jeongbang Waterfall
Jeongbang waterfall is one of the three most famous waterfalls in Jeju. This waterfall has 23 meters height and is located very close to the sea. This waterfall comes from Donghon-chun river.

Yongduam Rock
This place is a beach which is filled with beautiful reef. Yongduam Rock (Dragon Head Reef) is one of the unique nature that you can enjoy in Jeju island. The place is located in northern Jeju. Yongduam formed from volcanic eruptions that occurred more than two million years ago.
Yongduam has a many legend. One legend tells that there was a dragon who steals a valuable green jade of Mount Halla. The dragon then arrows down by god to protect the mountain. When he fell, Its slammed on Yongduam. The body was immediately drowned in the ocean and the head immediately freezes when the dragon was staring at the sky. Therefore this place is called Yongduam (yong = dragon, du = head, am = reef).
To get to this place, from Jeju International Airport, take a bus to Si Jungang Ro, and get off at Yongdam Rotary. After that, you have to walk for about 5-10 minutes.
Yeomiji Botanical Park
Since it was built in October 1989, this park has attracted more than 1.4 million tourists every year, and this became the most popular tourist attractions on Jeju Island. This park consists of open and enclosed garden park. Open garden is divided into four distinct parts, with various specific and patterned garden with over 2,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants. Various events held with a particular theme at this place every year.
And not far from this place (about 500m), you can go to beautiful Cheonjeyeong waterfall, it is very beautiful place to visit.

I’Park Mall

Nangdaemun Market
Most of existing stores in Namdaemun Market is having its own factory producing goods which are then sell in their stores. The market is claimed to sell goods at lower prices than anywhere else in Korea. One reason because they serve a purchase in bulk or wholesale.
